I had quite a relaxing weekend myself just spending most of my time in bed watching and researching.
So now, I'm ready to walk you again for yet another series in our journey to the unknown as we continue to uncover discoveries in Science and Technology that are not too familiar to ordinary people.
Let's continue with our Virtual Reality Series to see how it is connected to Transhumanism or the integration of Science and Technology for one common goal.

I'm sure that you are all familiar with prosthetic body part replacements, right? History says that the long and winding road to this idea has began way back the 1500s and had been evolving since then. Perhaps even much earlier. An artificial leg dating to about 300 B.C. was unearthed at Capua, Italy, in 1858. It was made of bronze and iron, with a wooden core, apparently for a below-knee amputee.
Since then, as Science and Technology, continued to evolve and develop, so was the Prosthetics. It had become to be more sophisticated that you may have even heard of some runners with such legs. Below is one of the latest models of a leg prosthetic.
However, we do know that it does not have feelings, right? It may be very useful and can function just like the real body part, but it does not feel anything.
This is where the Virtual Reality would come in. Remember I've mentioned in my previous post that VR is great in stimulating the human brains? This is exactly what it intend to do here. Amazing huh? Imagine feeling your missing part again?
Let's keep watch on this as it is still on the development stage. Meantime, we will explore more on this area as we get to familiarize ourselves even more.
